Look It’s Getting Sunny Outside!!!

A constant in the vast majority of Hura's works is his diary-like approach. In Look It's Getting Sunny Outside!!! he examines family life and in particular the relationship between his mother, who was diagnosed with acute paranoid schizophrenia, and her dog Elsa. The follow up book to Life Is Elsewhere - Hura’s first book, a surrealistic autobiographical journal – Look It’s Getting Sunny Outside!!! is a far more direct engagement with the domestic space in the last year’s of the dog’s life. Elsa had been his mother’s sole companion for many years and in the last years of the dog’s life, his mother’s partner and Hura’s father had also started to live with them.
